The Ministry of Education has announced the release of the 2024/25 placement results for Senior High Schools and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Institutions.
Out of the 563,339 results received from the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), 553,155 candidates qualified for placement, with an impressive 447,698 (80.93%) automatically placed in one of their chosen schools.
However, 104,918 qualified candidates were not matched to any of their preferred schools. These students are encouraged to visit the self-placement platform to select a school of their choice.
To ensure a smooth process, the Ministry has set up support systems, including the National Solution Centre at the GNAT Hall, Adabraka, Accra, and 16 Regional Solution Centres. A helpline is also available at 0308258001.
To access their placement results, qualified students can visit the official CSSPS website at https://www.cssps.gov.gh or https://www.cssps.org.
The process is straightforward: simply enter your ten-digit index number followed by the year of completion (e.g., 123456789024), and click the “Submit” button to view your placement result ¹.
This development comes after the release of the BECE results, which saw students eagerly awaiting their placement.
The Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) is designed to ensure a fair and transparent process, matching qualified candidates with available schools.
