The will of the late Apostle Dr. Kwadwo Safo Kantanka has been read in court, officially confirming Nana Kwadwo Safo Akofena as the successor to the Kantanka Empire.
The will was read during court proceedings on Monday, marking a significant milestone in the ongoing legal dispute over the leadership of the Kantanka Empire following the death of its founder. The court proceedings are expected to play a pivotal role in determining the future direction of one of Ghana’s most prominent indigenous religious and industrial institutions.
Following the hearing, fashion entrepreneur Richard Brown, widely known as Osebo the Zaraman, expressed his support for Nana Kwadwo Safo Akofena despite acknowledging that they do not share the same views on many issues.
Speaking to journalists after the proceedings, Osebo said his decision was motivated by the respect and gratitude he has for the late Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka.
“I don’t agree with Akofena on so many things, but because of the good things his father did for me while he was alive, I will support him,” he stated.
The reading of the will is regarded as a major development in the succession case, providing formal confirmation of the late Apostle’s wishes regarding the leadership of the Kantanka Empire.
The succession dispute has attracted widespread public attention, with many followers and observers closely monitoring the legal process.
