Samini Wowed Ghana Football Awards Audience With a Live Band Performance

The 2024 Ghana Football Awards ceremony was held at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre on Saturday, June 29, 2024, and it was a night to remember.

The event was scheduled to honor the achievements of football players, coaches, administrators, and other key stakeholders in Ghana’s football fraternity.

But the highlight of the evening was the electrifying performance by legendary Ghanaian musician Samini.

The reggae and dancehall icon took to the stage with his live band and delivered a thrilling performance that got the audience on their feet.

The awards ceremony saw Mohammed Kudus win the Footballer of the Year Award for the second consecutive year, while Jennifer Kankam Yeboah claimed the Female Footballer of the Year award. Smartex won the most awards, winning Club of the Year, Men’s Home-Based Footballer of the Year, and Men’s Coach of the Year.

Samini’s performance was a fitting ending to a night that celebrated the beautiful game and the talented individuals who made it happen. His live band performance was a testament to his enduring talent and ability to get crowds moving.
