UHAS Basic School (U.B.S) has made a heartwarming donation to the children’s ward of the Ho municipal hospital in the Volta Region of Ghana. This marks the school’s third charitable work since the commencement of this initiative in 2022.
The donation, comprising cash, food, clothing, and toiletries, aimed to provide learners with a tangible experience of the power of generosity, while also fostering meaningful connections with the hospital’s patients.
The headteacher of U.B.S, Mr Seth Korgah revealed that the school’s educational philosophy extends beyond the traditional classroom theories and emphasis on the importance of embedding the practical aspects of the lessons as they have emulated by the donation act.
Finally, a heartwarming moment unfolded as the school’s staff , and students personally handed over the donations to the patients, lighting up their faces with joy and gratitude.
