Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Chairman of Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL), has announced a policy initiative to permanently ban politicians and politically exposed persons from acquiring state assets.
According to Ablakwa, this move is a central element of President John Mahama’s agenda to ensure accountability and protect public resources.
The proposed ban is aimed at preventing the misuse of power and promoting transparency in the management of state assets.
Ablakwa revealed that President Mahama has also promised a thorough probe into the misuse of state lands.
The ORAL initiative, which has been in operation since Mahama’s return to power, aims to recover misappropriated state resources and prevent future abuses.
The policy initiative is part of a broader effort to transform the culture of public accountability in Ghana.
Ablakwa assured Ghanaians that ORAL is committed to protecting whistleblowers and promoting transparency in governance.
