An official release signed by the acting spokesperson to the president, Felix Ofosu Kwakye has revealed that the National Tripartite Committee yesterday, February 3, 2025 begun negotiations to determine the minimum wage for the 2025 fiscal year.
It went further to indicate that negotiations for public sector salaries will begin after the minimum wage has been concluded.
The government has raised concerns regarding the delay in negotiations which were supposed to be concluded in April last year.
It has urged its social partners to work swiftly in order to conclude negotiations in time for the 2025 budget.
