Bank of Ghana (BoG) has officially released and published the Ghana Gold Coin pricing for today, Tuesday, February 4, 2025.
In the release, an ounce of the gold coin equals ₵45,210.37, half ounce is going for Gh₵ 23,016.92 and one – fourth of an ounce sells at GH₵ 11,951.35 in the Ghanaian domestic gold market.
The Ghana Gold Coin (GGC) is a key component of BoG’s Gold Purchase Programme, designed to fortify the national economy through strategic gold investments.
The coin was lauched in September last year by the then govenor, Dr. Ernest Addison indicating that the coin will be selling in one ounce, half ounce and quarter ounce denominations.
