Member of Parliament for Damango, Samuel Abu Jinapor, has categorically denied allegations that he labeled Dr. Zenator Rawlings “daughter of a murderer” during a heated parliamentary session.
In a statement posted on his official Facebook page, Jinapor emphasized his deep respect for the late President Rawlings’ family, asserting that he would never make such a “unsavoury” comment about Dr. Rawlings.
The controversy erupted when an unidentified voice hurled the insult at Dr. Rawlings, MP for Korle Klottey Municipality, sparking chaos in the chamber and outrage on social media.
Jinapor urged the public to disregard the allegations, reaffirming his commitment to maintaining a respectful and dignified demeanor in Parliament.
