Member of Parliament for Ketu North, Eric Edem Agbana, has launched the Edem Agbana Scholarship Scheme on Sunday, March 2, 2025, to aid tertiary students in the Ketu North Constituency. The scheme will provide financial assistance to 302 students in their tertiary levels of education.
Significantly, the scheme will provide full scholarships for 22 persons with disabilities and 25 women studying STEM education. Additionally, other beneficiaries of the scholarship scheme will receive 60% to 80% support, while three other students will receive laptops to aid in their quest for higher learning in various tertiary institutions.
Reports indicate that the Member of Parliament has pledged to dedicate 50% of his salary to the fund to ensure its sustainability. Mr. Agbana further acknowledged some sponsors of the scheme.
