What was meant to be a night of excitement and music turned unexpectedly disappointing for Ghanaian rapper Kweku Smoke, as his luxurious red Corvette reportedly worth $60,000 was allegedly damaged during the Pent Hall Week Artiste Night at the University of Ghana on Saturday, June 7, 2025.
The ‘Agyekum’ hitmaker, who was one of the headline acts for the much-anticipated event, made a grand entrance in his eye-catching Corvette, drawing admiration from students and fans alike. Before the show began, several attendees gathered around the vehicle, taking photos and videos of the striking sports car.
However, the festive mood took a downturn after the show. Reports indicate that the award-winning rapper could not drive his car away following the event due to visible damage sustained during the night.
A video circulating on social media captures the unfortunate aftermath scratches and dents along the side of the vehicle, reportedly caused by a collision with another car. In the footage, Kweku Smoke appears visibly distressed, standing silently near the scene while a crowd of students surrounds the damaged vehicle.
Kweku Smoke recently took home two awards at the 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards, including Best Rap Performance and Hip-Hop Song of the Year for “Agyekum,” further cementing his place in Ghana’s music scene.
