Nigerian Afrobeats superstar, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has once again made headlines with his extravagant show of love for his wife, Chioma Rowland. During their grand white wedding ceremony in Miami, Davido gifted Chioma a diamond-encrusted Richard Mille wristwatch valued at a staggering $300,000.
The luxurious Miami celebration comes after the couple’s much-publicized traditional wedding in Lagos in June 2024, which dominated social media trends across Africa. Their marriage journey officially began with a court wedding in March 2023.
The white wedding, which has attracted global attention, reportedly cost an estimated $3.7 million USD (about ₦4 billion). In addition to the opulent ceremony, Davido and his groomsmen were seen in high spirits, fully dressed and ready to make the event a memorable spectacle.
The Miami celebration attracted dignitaries from business, politics, sports, and entertainment. The guest list also included the groom’s father, Adedeji Adeleke; the Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke; Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote; UFC champion Kamaru Usman; and other influential figures.
The star-studded occasion also brought together some of the biggest names in Nigerian entertainment. Among those spotted were Adekunle Gold, Obi Cubana and his wife Lush Eby, D’banj and his wife, celebrity stylist Medlin Boss, and Davido’s cousin B–Red, alongside reality TV star Liquorose and other high-profile personalities. They arrived in style, each adding a touch of elegance and flair to the celebration while sharing in the joy of the couple’s new chapter.
Social media has been abuzz with pictures and videos from the festivities, showcasing a blend of glamour, love, and luxury that has become synonymous with the award-winning artist’s lifestyle.
