The Accra Circuit Court has directed that Evangelist Mama Pat, formerly known as Nana Agradaa, be brought from the Nsawam Medium Security Prison to appear in court for the final ruling in a case filed by popular preacher, Osofo Appiah, widely known as Osofo Biblical.

The case, which has spanned several months, stems from allegations made by Osofo Biblical that he was physically assaulted by individuals believed to be associates of Nana Agradaa during her time as a traditional priestess. The complainant also contends that a private video of him involved in a sexual encounter with a married woman was unlawfully aired on Agradaa’s former television station, Thunder TV.

According to court documents, the broadcast of the explicit video not only violated his privacy but also caused him severe emotional and reputational damage. The incident reportedly occurred during the height of Agradaa’s influence in her days as a spiritualist before her later conversion to Christianity.

After reviewing the evidence and hearing arguments from both parties, the court has adjourned the case to July 30, 2025. It has also issued an order for the Ghana Prisons Service to ensure that Evangelist Mama Pat is present in court on the set date for the final ruling.

The high-profile case has garnered significant public interest due to the controversial background of the accused and the sensitive nature of the allegations. All eyes are now on the court as it prepares to deliver a judgment that could have legal and social implications for both parties involved.
