In a quest to enhance Ghana’s learning system, the Education Ministry have paterned with Fujian Jiangxia University in China to provide certain educational reliefs to students of various Ghanaian educational institutions across the country.
Deputy education minister Clement Apaak who received the delegation from China on behalf of the education minister, Haruna Iddrisu expressed profound gratitude in the Chinese teams interest in partnering with Ghanaian schools.
Mr. Clement Apaak further registered the ministry’s profound commitment to partnering with the Chinese University in events of exchange programmes and other scholarship opportunities.
In subsequent engagements, president of the Chinese University, Ling Qidan leading the delegation from China have also affirmed its intention to provide scholarship opportunities to Ghanaian students as well as foster exchange programes amongst students from Ghanaian Universities and the Fujian Jiangxia University in China.
To achieve this partnership, the ministry and the Chinese delegation is hoping to collaborate in areas such as; Public Foreign Language Education, Electronic Information, Science and Technology, Engineering, Agriculture, Finance, Economics among others.
For the sake of credibility, the Fujian Jiangxia University currently maintains partnerships with several institutions in the United States, United Kingdom, New Zealand, Malaysia, and Finland. This impending partnership with Ghana will provide an avenue to advance Ghana’s educational systems through the exchange programmes and scholarship opportunities.
