Justice for the Vulnerable: Police Arrest Suspect in Viral Sex Abuse Case

In a swift and decisive move, the Ghana Police Service has apprehended a suspect in connection with a disturbing viral video involving the sexual abuse of a minor.

Nana Poku Piesie, also known as Kwabena, was taken into custody on July 16, 2024, after allegedly claiming to have had sexual intercourse with a minor.

The police acted promptly in response to the public outrage and concern generated by the video. “We will ensure that the suspect is taken through the due process of the law,” said a police spokesperson. “We are committed to protecting the vulnerable and upholding the law.”

As the investigation continues, the police are working diligently to ensure that the suspect is held accountable for his actions. This arrest sends a strong message that the Ghana Police Service will not tolerate sexual exploitation or abuse of any kind.
