Ghanaian musician Kwame Yogot, best known for his hit single “Bibi Besi”, has stirred controversy after openly declaring that he hates fellow artist Kuami Eugene “with passion.”
In an interview monitored by ANC Empire Radio, the “Funny Rapper” revealed that although Kuami Eugene’s feature on “Bibi Besi” helped turn the song into a nationwide hit, he still harbors deep resentment toward him.
According to Kwame Yogot, his hatred stems from what he described as disrespect from Kuami Eugene after their collaboration. “Even though he jumped on my song and made it a hit, the way he disrespected me afterward really pained me,” Yogot stated.
When asked if anything could make him reconcile with Kuami Eugene, Yogot firmly rejected the idea, insisting that no situation or person could change his mind. “Nothing can make me like Kuami Eugene. No person born of a woman can make us reconcile,” he declared.
The revelation has since gone viral on social media, sparking widespread reactions among music lovers. While some fans commended Kwame Yogot for his honesty, others have called for maturity and reconciliation, emphasizing that unity among artists is crucial for the growth of Ghana’s music industry.
As of now, Kuami Eugene has not publicly responded to the comments.
