President John Dramani Mahama has set up a technical committee to address the technical issues plaqueing the energy sector.
The 12member committee consisting of representatives from all the key players from the energy evaluation will be chaired by John Abdulai Jinapor.
Acting spokesperson of the president, Felix Kwakye Ofosu has affirmed that the committee will develop a roadmap to the crisis hitting the energy sector by close of working day today.
Meanwhile, the Institute of Energy Security (IES) has issued a warning to the current administration regarding impending power outages, urging immediate action to mitigate the ‘dumsor’ crisis.
