MP Clement Apaak Supports Busila South BECE Candidates with Mock Exams.

Member of Parliament for Busila South, Dr. Clement Apaak has sponsored mock examinations for 765 BECE candidates from the 25 public Junior High Schools in the Builsa South constituency.

In an official statement, the sponsorship is in a bid to adequately prepare students of public Junior High Schools ahead of the Basic Certificate Education Examination in June. “Out of the 765 candidates who registered for this year’s BECE, 396 and 369 are girls and boys, respectively. The initiative is to help prepare the candidates adequately for the upcoming final BECE examinations in early June 2025.” the release indicated.

It further added that the District Chief Executive for the constituency, Madam Musah Anne, together with a team visited the schools to monitor the progress of the examination in the various schools. This, it said will provide first hand information about the current academic improvements and impedement facing the various schools in the district.

Upon the DCE’s visit, she assured both students and teachers across the various schools of the member of parliament’s who doubles as the Deputy Education Minister’s continual supports to the schools in the area.

She finally advised students to refrain from illicit drugs especially tramadol (porpularly referred to as RED). “these illicit drugs will have a debilitating, lasting negative effect on their lives” the release stated.

The Deputy Director of Education, Stephen Akumzeyam who was amongst the team that paid visits to the schools commended Dr. Apaak for the educational support in the district. “He cited the MPs provision of furniture for schools, organizing extra classes, organizing quizzes, building and renovation of dilapidated schools, and the distribution of mathematical sets for all candidates each year ever since he became their Member of Parliament” the release shared.

All students have been charged to put in their best during the exam in order to be awarded with a scholarship from Dr. Clement Apaak.
