Award-winning actress and television personality, Felicity Ama Agyemang, popularly known as Nana Ama McBrown, made headlines on Sunday, June 15, 2025, when she celebrated her husband, Maxwell Mawu Mensah, with an extravagant shopping trip in honour of Father’s Day.
In a video shared on her official TikTok page, the beloved Onua Showtime host was seen beaming with joy as she treated her husband to a luxury shopping experience at Savile Row Ghana, one of the premium fashion boutiques owned by renowned businessman Nana Sarfo. The couple, dressed casually in matching white t-shirts and shorts, appeared united and cheerful as they browsed through designer collections including shoes, belts, and luxury Dolce & Gabbana bags.
The public outing marked a rare joint appearance for the couple, who have been at the centre of persistent divorce rumours. After their shopping spree, McBrown and her husband exited the store with shopping bags in hand and were seen leaving in her high-end 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor. McBrown couldn’t hide her happiness, smiling for the camera while Maxwell took the wheel.
In the caption of her Father’s Day post, McBrown paid a heartfelt tribute to her husband and extended her appreciation to men around the world, despite her recent hiatus from her Onua Showtime programme, during which media personality Tima Kumkum temporarily filled in.
This luxurious outing was the couple’s first public appearance in over two months. Prior to this, they were seen together at the funeral of Madam Janet Serwah, mother of their close friend Kweenmoda, held at the old IPMC building near Paloma Hotel on Saturday, April 12, 2025.
Rumours surrounding the couple’s marriage have circulated heavily over the past two years. Speculation intensified after Maxwell allegedly deleted photos of McBrown from his Instagram account. Observers also noted McBrown was seen without her wedding ring and was rarely spotted in public with her husband, fuelling further public speculation.
Married since 2016, the couple shares a daughter, Baby Maxin, and despite the rumours, their recent public display of affection suggests a possible reconciliation or, at the very least, a united front.
