Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has honoured five prominent Ghanaians with diplomatic passports in recognition of their remarkable contributions to the nation’s global image.
In a Facebook announcement, the legislator described the gesture as a “profound honour,” as he congratulated the recipients: renowned YouTuber and global influencer Wodemaya, UK-based entrepreneur and philanthropist Lady Dentaa Amoateng, Grammy-nominated musician Rocky Dawuni, celebrated broadcaster Anita Erskine, and businessman Ibrahim Mahama.
“Ghana is exceptionally proud of you all. Keep the Black Star shining! For God and Country,” Mr. Ablakwa stated.
The initiative, he explained, is part of ongoing efforts to celebrate and empower Ghanaians whose works continue to project the nation positively on the international stage.
Each of the honourees has earned acclaim in their respective fields from the digital space and entrepreneurship to music, broadcasting, and business helping to cement Ghana’s reputation as a hub of talent and innovation.
This recognition not only elevates their status but also underscores the importance of harnessing Ghanaian excellence for global impact.
