President John Dramani Mahama has arrived in Singapore for a three-day State visit aimed at deepening bilateral ties between Ghana and the Southeast Asian nation. The visit will focus on expanding cooperation in trade, education, innovation, agribusiness, and the digital economy.
During his stay, President Mahama will hold high-level talks with Singapore’s President, Tharman Shanmugaratnam, and Prime Minister, Lawrence Wong, to explore new avenues of collaboration that will boost economic growth and strengthen people-to-people exchanges.
As part of his engagements, the President is scheduled to deliver the keynote address at the 8th Africa Singapore Business Forum, where business leaders and policymakers from both regions will discuss opportunities for investment and partnerships. He will also headline the Ghana Investment & Business Forum, a platform designed to showcase Ghana’s investment climate and attract strategic investors to key sectors of the economy.
President Mahama’s visit underscores Ghana’s commitment to diversifying its international partnerships and leveraging Singapore’s globally recognized expertise in innovation, technology, and sustainable development.
