Rosebank International University College (RIUC) has announced a major milestone in its development, securing a series of international accreditations and partnerships aimed at expanding global opportunities for its students.
The Accra-based institution is now accredited by several prestigious bodies, including ADvTECH, Africa’s leading private education provider; the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC); Capsicum Culinary Studio; the Association of African Universities; the Golden Key International Honour Society; and IIE Rosebank College in South Africa.
Speaking at a media briefing, Vice-President of RIUC, Dr. George Asamoah, said the accreditations signal the university college’s commitment to providing students with globally competitive education while maintaining strong African roots.
“These affiliations allow our students to access rich international experiences and globally recognised qualifications,” he stated. “They also position RIUC as a centre of academic excellence in Africa, committed to producing graduates who are equipped to thrive in an interconnected global economy.”
One of the key highlights of the announcement is a new student exchange programme with IIE Rosebank College, which has eight campuses across South Africa and serves over 33,000 students. The initiative will allow RIUC students to study abroad, participate in cross-cultural learning environments, and build international networks.
Additionally, RIUC’s affiliation with the Golden Key International Honour Society, based in the United States, opens the door for high-performing students to join a global community of scholars and access exclusive academic and leadership development opportunities.
Dr. Asamoah noted that the institution’s alignment with internationally recognised bodies also reflects its dedication to quality assurance, curriculum relevance, and expanding career pathways for students both within Ghana and abroad.
“This is a significant step forward not just for RIUC, but for our students,” he said. “We are creating a learning environment where academic excellence meets global exposure, preparing our graduates to compete and succeed on the world stage.”
The new accreditations and partnerships form part of RIUC’s broader strategic vision to enhance its academic offerings and ensure its students are well-prepared for the demands of the 21st-century workforce.
