The University of Ghana’s Academic Affairs Directorate has announced that graduants of the February 2025 congregation will not receive their medals and scroll holders during the upcoming graduation ceremonies.
According to an official notice dated February 10, 2025, the distribution of these items has been delayed due to last-minute procurement setbacks.
However, the university has assured graduants that efforts are underway to ensure the delivery of these items, and graduates will be notified of collection arrangements in due course.
The graduation ceremonies, which commence on February 11, will see over 15,000 undergraduate and graduate students receive their degrees in 17 separate sessions over the next two weeks.
Despite the delay in receiving their medals and scroll holders, graduants are expected to participate in the ceremonies and receive their degrees as scheduled.
