UG Launches Modern Facility to Enhance Tema Learning Centre.

The University of Ghana, Legon has officially opened a modern building for the Tema Learning Centre, designed to improve teaching, learning, and research experiences at the university.

During the commissioning ceremony, Vice Chancellor Professor Nana Aba Appiah Amfo acknowledged the collaborative efforts that brought this vision to life and emphasized the facility’s significance in advancing the university’s five strategic priorities. She also encouraged greater collaboration among departments to develop programs that meet the evolving needs of students.

The Dean of the School of Continuing and Distance Education, Prof. Olivia Kwapong, in her remarks at the commissioning expressed her appreciation to the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) and the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) for their financial support.

This new facility is expected to serve as a vital resource for students and faculty, fostering an environment of academic excellence and innovation at the University.
