Volta Region Set for Major Industrial Boost

In a bid to stimulate economic growth and create jobs, the Volta Region is poised to establish a 24-hour Economy Industrial Park.

The park, which will be located in Adaklu, near Ho, is expected to attract industries and provide employment opportunities for the youth. This initiative is part of the government’s efforts to promote industrialization and economic development in the region.

Volta Regional Minister, James Gunu, revealed that the industrial park will serve as a business hub, providing a conducive environment for businesses to thrive.

He emphasized the need for collaboration between the private sector, NGOs, and local governments to achieve this goal.

The Regional Minister also outlined plans to visit businesses across the region to identify ways to support local industries. This move is expected to contribute significantly to the region’s industrial and economic growth.

Mr Gunu noted that the industrial park will focus on key sectors such as agriculture, manufacturing, and technology. He expressed confidence that the park will become a major driver of economic growth and development in the region.
