Ghanaian billionaire and business magnate, Ibrahim Mahama, has once again demonstrated his growing influence in the business world with the acquisition of a brand-new Bombardier Global 6500 private jet, valued at more than $70 million approximately GH₵600 million.
The ultra-long-range aircraft, one of the most advanced business jets in the world, features a striking grey-and-white exterior finish customized with his signature “Dzata” design, a brand identity closely associated with his cement company.
The bold branding on the jet reflects both personal taste and corporate pride, making a powerful statement on the global aviation stage.
A video that surfaced on March 3, 2026, captured the Chief Executive Officer of Engineers and Planners arriving at the airport in a convoy of luxury Mercedes-Benz vehicles before boarding the sleek new aircraft. The jet, custom-painted in white and grey and prominently branded “Dzata,” quickly drew attention on social media, with many praising the businessman’s continued success.

This latest acquisition marks Ibrahim Mahama’s second private jet, adding to an already impressive aviation portfolio. Over the years, his first aircraft also named after his cement brand has been used for both business and high-profile engagements. Notably, it has served prominent figures including his brother, John Mahama, and the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, for official and personal trips.
The Bombardier Global 6500 is renowned for its impressive range, cutting-edge technology, luxurious cabin design, and high-speed performance, making it a preferred choice among global elites and corporate leaders. Its addition to Ibrahim Mahama’s fleet underscores his expanding business footprint and solidifies his status as one of Ghana’s most prominent entrepreneurs.
As one of the few Ghanaian businessmen to own multiple private jets, Ibrahim Mahama continues to make bold moves that highlight both his financial strength and ambition. His latest purchase not only signals personal success but also reflects the growing presence of Ghanaian entrepreneurs on the global stage.
