Apostle Ameyaw Mark calls out prophets over election predictions.

The 2024 Ghanaian presidential election has sparked significant interest among prophets, with a split in predictions regarding the outcome. Many respected prophets forecasts a win for John Dramani Mahama of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), citing their history of accurate prophecies. Conversely, some prophets predict a victory for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), though specific details on these predictions are lacking.

Apostle Ameyaw Mark, Chairman of Ambassadors for Christ Council in Techiman, has raised concerns about false predictions from prophets, stressing the need for prophetic ministry to honor God and deliver accurate messages. In an interview on Fabea FM’S “Me Man Ho Dadwen,” he criticized those with failed prophecies for bringing disgrace to God and urged them to be more careful in their public declarations, suggesting many prophecies stem from personal instincts rather than divine insight.

Mark also called for accountability from President Akufo-Addo regarding the use of state funds for the National Cathedral’s construction, warning of potential financial loss if the project remains unfinished. This criticism of prophets for unfulfilled predictions is not new, as similar issues have arisen in the past.
