Fire has engulfed the Kwadaso Wood Market for the second time in two weeks massively burning out valuables in the market.
The fire, which begun during the late hours of Sunday, January 19, 2025 completely burnt out most stalls and woods meant for sale in the market.
Despite tireless efforts by the fire service personnel to quench the blazing fire, A vast portion had been burnt out before day time causing great losses.
The initial incident which occurred on January 4, 2025 had earlier destroyed a vast number of valuables and properties causing a significant loss to traders and wood dealers in the market.
In the mean time, no casualties have been recorded but traders have been left in despair picking up their remains after the fire.
