Ghana’s largest domestic airline, PassionAir has announced a 10% cut on air fares effective Tuesday, June 17, 2025.
This reduction is in response to the recent back – to – back appreciation of the Ghanaian cedi against major foriegn currencies globally. Notably, the Ghanaian cedi has made major gains boosting the fiscal economy thereby creating positive impacts on the prices of petroleum products which have significantly influenced price value of goods and services within the country.
Due to the appreciation of the cedi, several companies have issued notices of significant price cuts adjusting it to the gains from the cedi. Such companies include; Blow-Chem Industries Limited, KFC Ghana, Melcom Limited, Multichoice Ghana – owners of DStv and GO tv packages and others.
PassionAir has expressed its unwavering commitment to ensuring that its customers benefit from positive market developments. “At PassionAir, we are committed to ensuring our valued customers benefit
directly from positive market developments. As the domestic aviation landscape evolves, we remain focused on offering competitive fares that reflect these changes.” it affirmed.
Customers are hereby directed to visit www.flypassionair.com for the list of updated airfares within the airline.
