Visa applications into the the United Kingdom are set to be extended to Kumasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana effective Thursday, June, 26 2025.
VFS Global, a commercial company that provides visa applications to governments worldwide have announced on their website that Kumasi will now hold a centre for UK visa applications in the region. The notice clarified that the move is intended to enhance customer experience and cater for the growing demand from customers.
The VFS Ghana private limited further added that the Kumasi branch will be located on the 3rd Floor of the Golden Bean Hotel on the No: 19 Harper Road. The office which will be operational from tomorrow June 26, will be opened every Thursdays and Fridays.
Operational hours are between 9:00 AM through to 2:00 PM each working day.
Significantly, visa applicants within the Ashanti Region and its neighbors towns and cities can now commute to Kumasi for their UK Visa applications rather than moving to Accra.
