The Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) has officially extended the application deadline for its flagship “No Fees Stress” academic fees reimbursement initiative. The extension, announced on July 31, 2025, pushes the deadline to Thursday, August 7, 2025, giving eligible students one final opportunity to submit their applications for the 2024/2025 academic year.
The “No Fees Stress” Policy is aimed at alleviating the financial burden on Ghanaian tertiary students by reimbursing academic fees. The SLTF emphasized that this is the final extension and no further deadline changes will be made beyond August 7.
“All eligible students are encouraged to submit their applications before the new deadline to benefit from this crucial support,” the statement said.
The SLTF reiterated its commitment to providing timely and accessible financial assistance to students across Ghana’s tertiary institutions.
The announcement was signed by Obeng Agyenim Boateng, Director of Corporate Communications at the Students Loan Trust Fund.
For students struggling to finance their education, this extension could be a lifeline but only if they act before the final deadline.
