Government Reiterates Commitment to Transparency and Accountability

The Presidential Spokesperson and Minister-designate for Government Communications, Felix Ofosu Kwakye, has reaffirmed the government’s dedication to transparency, accountability, and public service.

Mr Kwakye emphasized the importance of constructive criticism and scrutiny from the media and the public. He underscored the government’s commitment to protecting free speech and promoting open dialogue.

He noted that the government recognizes its accountability to the Ghanaian people and is committed to serving their needs with humility and integrity. He encouraged the media and civil society organizations to continue playing their vital roles in promoting transparency and accountability.

The government has expressed its willingness to engage with critics and opposition parties to address the country’s economic challenges.

Mr Kwakye stressed the need for collective effort and cooperation to drive Ghana’s development and prosperity.

He reiterated the government’s commitment to upholding the principles of transparency, accountability, and public service, and to working collaboratively with all stakeholders to advance the nation’s interests.
