This past Saturday, cultural curator Smallgod and Creative Accra, a collective promoting artistic expression, joined forces to host a T-Shirt Printing Workshop and Giveaway in Tudu, a vibrant fashion hub in Ghana.
The event celebrated creativity, community, and fashion, providing a hands-on experience for locals, market vendors, artisans, and fashion enthusiasts.
During the one-day workshop, participants learned screen printing techniques from expert printers and designers, creating unique, personalized T-shirts that reflected their individual style and the dynamic spirit of Accra’s fashion scene.
Smallgod, known for merging music, art, and culture, expressed his enthusiasm for the event:
“Tudu is a melting pot of creativity, and this workshop was a way to give back to the community that has inspired my journey. We wanted to make art accessible and practical for everyday life while creating a memorable experience.”
As part of the event’s community-focused approach, Smallgod and Creative Accra held a giveaway featuring limited-edition T-shirts designed specifically for the occasion.
The designs paid tribute to Tudu’s bustling markets and its significance in Ghana’s fashion industry, generating excitement among marketgoers and highlighting the importance of making creative resources available to all.
