Stonebwoy Crowned ‘Artiste of the Year’ at 2024 3Music Awards

Ghanaian Afro-dancehall sensation, Stonebwoy, has clinched the prestigious Artiste of the Year title at the 2024 3Music Awards. Alongside this major win, the acclaimed musician also took home the awards for Reggae/Dancehall Act of the Year and Album of the Year, thanks to his latest chart-topping project.

The glamorous event, hosted at the Palm Convention Centre within the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, brought together Ghana’s musical elite. The night featured electrifying performances from a stellar lineup, including Nacee, Piesie Esther, Adina, Kweku Smoke, Akwaboah, Mr. Drew, and Lyrical Joe, further enhancing the celebration of the country’s finest music talents.

Stonebwoy, recognized for hits like “Manodzi,” faced fierce competition for the coveted Artiste of the Year award, going up against heavyweights like Sarkodie, King Promise, Kuami Eugene, and Black Sherif. His victory was met with thunderous applause from the audience when his name was announced, marking yet another milestone in his illustrious career.

Although Stonebwoy was unable to attend the event in person, celebrated music producer Mix Master Garzy stepped in to accept the award on his behalf. Garzy took the opportunity to excite fans, revealing that Stonebwoy is gearing up to release a brand-new album in the near future.
