The United Kingdom and Ghana have signed a new Growth Partnership aimed at strengthening economic cooperation and delivering tangible benefits for citizens and businesses across Ghana.

The agreement is expected to support job creation, improve infrastructure development, and expand access to education and skills training, reinforcing the long-standing relationship between the two countries.

The new partnership builds on the momentum generated by the Ghana Investment Summit held in London, where investment deals worth up to £215 million were signed. These agreements are expected to drive economic growth, attract further investment, and create opportunities for businesses in key sectors of the Ghanaian economy.

Under the Growth Partnership, both countries will work closely to promote trade, investment, innovation, and sustainable development. The initiative seeks to unlock new opportunities for Ghanaian entrepreneurs and businesses while enhancing the country’s capacity to develop critical infrastructure and equip its workforce with relevant skills for the modern economy.

Government officials from both nations have expressed confidence that the partnership will deepen economic ties and contribute significantly to Ghana’s development agenda. The agreement is also expected to encourage greater private sector participation and strengthen collaboration in areas such as technology, education, and industrial growth.

The UK remains one of Ghana’s important development and trade partners, and the new Growth Partnership underscores a shared commitment to fostering economic prosperity, creating employment opportunities, and improving the livelihoods of citizens in both countries.

The signing of the agreement marks another milestone in UK-Ghana relations and reflects a mutual determination to build a stronger, more resilient, and inclusive economic future.
