The 2004 Year Group of Abor Senior High School (ABORSCO) Old Students Association has made a significant contribution to their alma mater by installing an ultramodern signage at the school. The project, sponsored by the 2004-year group led by Samuel Dumenya, involved the design, fixing, and installation of a 3D signage for ABORSCO.
This gesture commemorates the group’s 20th Anniversary Celebration since leaving the school. The management of the school has approved the commissioning and handing over of the project, which took place on December 18, 2024, at the school’s premises.
According to Samuel Dumenya, the project aims to stimulate enthusiasm and challenge other year groups to replicate similar efforts in addressing the school’s infrastructure gaps. He noted that the 2004-year group sought to address the lack of signage, among other infrastructural constraints, facing the school.
The Abor Senior Secondary Old Students Association (ASSOSA) has commended the 2004-year group for this remarkable achievement. In a statement, ASSOSA described the achievement as impeccable and a source of pride for the association. The statement appealed to other year groups to emulate the 2004 colleagues and aspire to do more for the school to improve teaching and learning and enhance the image of the school.
