Controversial Ghanaian pastor and self-proclaimed spiritual leader, Angel Obinim, has once again stirred public attention with a fiery statement aimed at his long-time critic, Ogyaba. In a shocking address, Obinim openly admitted to past indiscretions, including infidelity, while fiercely defending himself against allegations from his detractors.
During a recent sermon broadcasted to his congregation, Angel Obinim, known for his dramatic and unconventional style of leadership, called out Ogyaba, another prominent Ghanaian pastor, for what he described as baseless criticisms. In an unfiltered outburst, Obinim declared, “Yes, I have cheated on my wife before. And so what? I am not perfect. Fools! Shut up, Ogyaba, and accept it!”
This bold admission comes as no surprise to many, given Obinim’s history of making headlines for controversial statements and actions. However, his unapologetic tone and direct attack on Ogyaba have ignited fresh debate within religious circles and on social media platforms.
The public has been divided over Obinim’s candid admission. Some have praised him for his honesty and willingness to own up to his mistakes, arguing that it reflects the flawed humanity of all individuals, including pastors. Others, however, have criticized his approach, describing it as arrogant and unbecoming of a religious leader.
Despite the backlash, Obinim remains defiant. He has made it clear that he will not back down or apologize for his comments. Instead, he urged his followers to focus on his spiritual works and disregard the noise surrounding his personal life.
