Former president of the Ghana football Association, Kwasi Nyantakyi has been discharged over the state’s inability to cite sufficient evidence levelled against him.

The Accra High Court presided over by her ladyship Justice Marie – Louisse Simmons pointed out Investigative Journalist, Anas Aremeyaw’s failure to testify in court as the premise for discharged Mr. Nyantakyi.

The court of appeals ruled on January 30 that the masked journalist uncovers his face in order to testify as the last out of the state’s five witnesses however his failure ignited this ruling.

Notably Mr. Kwasi Nyantakyi was charged with fraudulent allegations in the Ghana football Association contained in a documentary prepared by Anas titled “Number 12” in 2018.

The high courts ruling however brings an end to the five years legal battle between Nyantakyi and the state.
