Veteran Accra-based music producer, Da’Hammer, has publicly distanced himself from the ongoing controversy surrounding the welfare of rapper Okomfour Kwadee.
In a statement, Da’Hammer expressed his disappointment, revealing that he had planned to return to social media to announce his new album. However, he was instead forced to address widespread misconceptions linking him to the ongoing dispute.
The confusion appears to have arisen due to mistaken identity, as Da’Hammer has been erroneously associated with the issue instead of Kumasi-based media personality Hammer Nti, who is actually at the center of the controversy.
Da’Hammer further disclosed that he has received over 50 calls from concerned family members and friends who wrongly assumed he was involved. This prompted him to clear the air and set the record straight.
He concluded his statement by wishing all parties involved the best in resolving their differences while firmly stating that he has no connection to the dispute.
