GNAT Urges 2025 BECE Candidates to Uphold Integrity and Focus on Success

The Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) has sent a message of encouragement to candidates preparing for the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), which is set to take place from June 11 to June 18.

In a statement, GNAT emphasized the importance of maintaining integrity throughout the exam process, urging candidates to avoid any form of malpractice.

The association recognized that the upcoming exam is a pivotal moment in the students’ academic journey, and it is crucial for them to approach it with focus and dedication.

“Stay committed to your studies and follow the rules set forth for the examination. Resist any temptation to engage in malpractice, and approach each paper with a clear, focused mind. Your hard work will certainly pay off,” GNAT stated.

With 603,328 candidates registered for the 2025 BECE, including 297,250 males and 306,078 females from 20,395 schools nationwide, the exam will be held across 2,237 centers, with 14 additional centers in regional capitals catering to private candidates.
