The ongoing feud between Kumawood actor Kwaku Manu and controversial broadcaster Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah has reached new heights, following a series of scathing allegations and fiery exchanges between the two public figures.

On the Friday, June 13 edition of his For The Records show, Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah launched another blistering attack in response to fresh claims made by Kwaku Manu. In his earlier comments, Manu alleged that Okatakyie built his studio using a woman’s money a claim that has drawn widespread attention on social media.

Responding on-air, Okatakyie revealed that several well meaning individuals had cautioned him against engaging with Kwaku Manu, arguing that the actor did not match him in intellect or social relevance. “They told me he wasn’t worth my time,” he remarked. “But I’ve had enough. If he provokes me again, I will expose everything.”

In a bombshell allegation, Okatakyie accused Kwaku Manu of having a history of drug trafficking, even branding him a “cocaine smuggler.” He also made the shocking claim that Manu was responsible for the deaths of children who attended his now-defunct school, the Kwaku Manu Educational Complex. “If he keeps pushing me, I’ll tell the whole world what happened in that school and how he got involved in drugs,” Okatakyie warned.

These developments follow a heated online spat sparked by a viral video in which Kwaku Manu strongly criticized Okatakyie and his supporters. In the video, Manu described Okatakyie as a disgrace to the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), mocked his late rise to fame, and accused him of living off his mother while he (Manu) was already employing people.

“I was paying staff while your mother was still paying your school fees,” Manu declared in his video response.

As the tension escalates, fans and industry observers are calling for calm, urging both men to refrain from further personal attacks and instead seek resolution through more civil discourse.

Neither party has issued a formal statement as of press time. The public, however, continues to watch closely as this bitter public feud unfolds.
